The race starting line is on the Congress Avenue (Ann B. Richards) Bridge.

Each race bib number will be assigned a colored label with a corral letter when you pick up your race packet. The letter on your label will correspond to one of six starting corrals.

  • 8:00 a.m. Elite
  • 8:00 a.m. Corral A 
  • 8:10 a.m. Corral B 
  • 8:20 a.m. Corral C 
  • 8:30 a.m. Corral D 
  • 8:40 a.m. Corral E 
  • 8:50 a.m. Corral F
  • 9:15 a.m. Start Line Closes

To ensure each corral is advanced to the start line for an on-time start, CORRAL GATES WILL CLOSE 5-MINUTES PRIOR TO CORRAL START TIME. If you are unable to get to your assigned corral before the gates are closed you must start in the next available open corral.

Allow between 1.5-2.0 hours once you arrive in downtown Austin to locate parking, use the restroom, access your start corral and hear pre-race announcements.

Corral assignments are organized by participant pace. Participants with similar pace will be grouped together. Participants are allowed to move backward in the letter sequence but not forward. Groups that want to start together should start with the latest letter.

No, not at this time. Bags of any type are prohibited in the start corral. All discarded clothing in the start venue is assumed abandoned and will be collected and disposed.
