“Weigh yourself before a run then again when you get home. The difference is what you lost in sweat,” says Cameron Cope, Physical Therapist at Baylor, Scott & White Health.

“Drinking enough water following a run is often overlooked. You can lose quite a bit of water through sweat when you train. After a particularly hard, sweaty run you will need to replace electrolytes in addition to water.”
