Practice a Hard/Easy principal.
Your training schedule should be based upon the Hard/Easy principal. For every “Hard” workout, you should have an “Easy” followup. For the novice runners, that means one day on then a day or two off. For intermediates, it means following a hard speed workout day with a short, easy run. If you Run/Walk, then this principal is demonstrated on a micro-level.
Quick Tip: Stuffing your wet running shoes with waded up newspaper dries them out quickly without changing their shape. Replace every few hours for quicker dry time.
